Introduction


Meditation is a practice which is more desirable for us. 

Meditation has a long history of use for increasing calmness, reducing anxiety and fresh mindset, physical and mental relaxation, growing muscles, coping with illness, and enhancing overall health and well being.


There are many type of meditation, but we will focus on fair elements such as :-

  • You have found a quiet location. 

  • You have to find a specific, comfortable posture (Sitting, lying down, walking, or in another position).

  • You have to focus on attention

  • You have to focus on an open attitude such as; (Letting distraction come and go naturally without judging them.

Some research suggest that meditation can physically change the brain and body and help to improve many health problems. And promote healthy behaviours


Types :- 

There are two main types of meditation :- 

  1. Concentration meditation

  2. Mindfulness meditation


Concentration meditation :-

concentration meditation represents attention. The king of meditation involves focusing on a single object such as focusing on our breath.


You can practice concentration meditation by following below.

  • Quiet place :- You have to find a quiet and private place for doing meditation. It will help to increase your ability to concentrate.

  • Sit comfortably :- You have to sit comfortably during meditation. Your body should not feel discomfort during meditation. And after that you have to focus on the object of concentration.

  • Apply timer :- You have to start with a short session, 5-10 minutes in length. You have to repeat these short sessions everyday.

  • Close your eyes :- You have to close your eyes, or to keep them partially open without being entirely focused.

  • Direct your attention to the focus of concentration :- You have to focus on your breath, turn your attention to breath as you inhale or exhale.



Mindfulness meditation :- 

Mindfulness meditation is a mental training practice which teaches you to slow down racing thoughts, let go of negative, and calm both your mind and body.

You can practice mindfulness meditation by following below. 

  • Get comfortable :- You have to find a comfortable table. Sit in a chair or on the floor with your head, neck, and bat straight but not stiff. You have to wear comfortable, loose clothing so you're not distracted.

  • Consider time :- Most people lose track of time while meditating. You have to allow yourself time after meditation to become aware of where you are and get up gradually.

  • Focus on breathing :- you have to focus on breathing. Feel your belly rise and fall as the air others your nostrils and leaves your nostrils.

  • Notice your thoughts :- You have to notice your thoughts come up in your mind. Don't ignore or suppress them. Simply you have to remain calm, and use your breathing as an anchor.

  • Give yourself a break :- If you find yourself getting carried away in your thoughts- such as worry, fear, anxiety, or hope- observe where your mind went, without judgment.


Benefits of meditation


Reduce stress :- Stress reduction is one of the most common reasons people try meditation.


Control anxiety :- You can control your anxiety after meditation. And you will feel relaxed and fresh.


Enhance your concentration power :- You can brush up on your memory power while doing meditation.


Physical and mental power :- You can enhance your physical power such as boost your muscles and brain. You will feel fit as a fiddle. If your physical health is good, your mental health is also good. Because mental health and physical health are interconnected to each other.


Self motivation :- You can enhance your self motivation and you develop a stronger understanding of yourself.


Reduce insomnia :- We can reduce insomnia through meditation. 


Reduce blood- pressure :- When will you meditate, reduce your blood pressure. And keep healing and keep growing.


Conclusion :-

 Meditation is a key to success and health. 

Based on my research, I conclude that meditation has many scientifically proven benefits to both physical and mental health and well-being.
